Audi Debuts Second Generation Q3

Audi has released the second-generation of its popular Q3 compact luxury crossover. The exterior styling updates echo the more angular design found on the recently updated midsize Q5.

The front end treatment is significantly more elegant and sporty with the reduction of a large overhang that plagued the first generation Q3. Better proportioned headlamps and a more aggressive grille design lend the vehicle a much sleeker look overall.

Out back the design has also taken on a more aggressive tone. Tail lamps feature more complex lighting elements and the lower valance of the bumper now features glossy trim.

Taking a step inside, we find a much more sophisticated design for the second-generation Q3. Although rendered from high-quality materials, the Q3’s dash has always appeared as if it was missing something. That’s been remedied on the new generation as the Q3 takes on the latest Audi interior aesthetic, which places a focus on better integrated infotainment and artfully integrated HVAC vents.
