The 2018 Ford Fusion is the brand’s midsize sedan that is positioned between the compact Ford Focus and the full-size Ford Taurus. Prices start at an MSRP of $22,120 and there are a variety of models ranging from a fuel-efficient hybrid to the luxurious Platinum trim.
Pros: Roomy Interior, Stylish Exterior, Fun Sport Model, Available Hybrid, Available AWD
Cons: Non-Hybrids Have Low MPG’s, Lackluster Interior
Looks Best In: Ruby Red exterior/Dark Earth Gray interior
Competition: Honda Accord, Toyota Camry, Nissan Altima, Hyundai Sonata
Summary: Although some of its non-hybrid competitors are more efficient than the standard Fusion, it has a very roomy interior and tasteful exterior styling. A somewhat claustrophobic and button-heavy interior detracts from the driving experience, however the Fusion remains a solid choice, especially as discounts are widely available.
