2018 Tesla Model 3

Released as a late 2017 model, the Tesla Model 3 is one of the most talked about cars on sale today. It’s Tesla’s mid-size sedan, slotting below the Model S sedan and Model X sport utility vehicle, both of which are quite expensive. The 2018 Tesla Model 3 has an MSRP of $35,000, making it accessible to a larger customer base. With its electric-only powertain, the Model 3 has no direct competitors at its price point, however it may be cross shopped with conventional luxury sedans like the Mercedes-Benz C/E-Class and BMW 3/5 Series, all of which offer hybrid options, or perhaps even the Prius Prime.

Pros:  220 Mile Electric Driving Range, Available AWD, Uber Stylish, Abundant Safety Features

Cons: Not Well-Equipped, Options Expensive, Unconventional Interior Might Be Too Minimalist For Some, Usual Restrictions With Charging And Range

What You Should Know: The Model 3 has experienced highly-publicized production delays, so availability continues to be limited. Expect delays!

Coolest Feature: Massive 15” touchscreen display dominates the ultra-cool austere interior

Looks Best In: Deep Blue Metallic exterior/Black interior

Summary: The Model 3 brings the appeal of Tesla to the masses. Well, sort of. To get expected comforts like heated seats and dimming mirrors you’ll need to pay extra, so the base MSRP is a bit deceiving. Nevertheless, the 2018 Tesla Model 3 is at the cusp of innovation with its electric powertrain, tech-heavy instrumentation and autonomous safety kit, and has unmatched appeal for any car under $75k. Plus, it’s all wrapped in a very stylish package. This one is worth the wait!
