What You Should Know: An all-new Ram 1500 is expected to be released for the 2019 model year. Wait for that if you’re interested in the latest safety features, like collision warning and adaptive cruise control, which it’s expected to include. Otherwise, deals are plentiful on the 2018 model.

Coolest Feature: The wonderfully over-the-top 33-inch Toyo off-road tires on the Rebel trim.

Competition: Toyota Tundra, Chevrolet Silverado, Nissan Titan, Ford F-150

Summary: Still trendy even in the last model year for the design, the 2018 Dodge Ram 1500 is a solid choice that offers a more comfortable ride than many of its competitors, which could make a big difference on long commutes over bad roadways.

Did You Know? Ram offers a Harvest edition of its truck, which is designed for “farm work” according to Ram’s website. This rig is as American as apple pie!
